Shop till you drop at Walmart in Chongqing

We're home!

We arrived home on Friday April 7 at 10pm after over 24 hours of travel. We started in Guangzhou flew to Beijing, then to Newark then to Florida. We barely made our connection in Newark. We arrived just as the gate ticket agents were ready to give our seats away. I think we did well to land, get thru customs, immigration, recheck our bags, do security and get from the international area to the domestic area all in 50 minutes!

The flights were long. We were fortunate both girls slept alot on the Beijing to Newark portion. Milana slept on 2 of our 3 seats, and since Micah likes to be held while you're standing...well, I stood alot. We were met at the airport by Michael's mother and sister and our friends, Wendell and Jonell. It was so good to be home!

I'm sorry I wasn't able to update the blog as much as I had hoped. We don't have a laptop, and there were computer/camera incompatabilities with the computers I was able to borrow. Then, there is the excuse we were just plain busy after we became a family of 4!

After all the chaos of the actual "Gotcha" moment, I was walking around the Civil Affairs room with Micah in my arms and I saw this sign. It's a poignant reminder of who Micah is, where she is from, and the hope that our love will give her a happy life.
