Strawberry Festival 2006

We enjoyed the Strawberry Festival. It was the first time Milana had ever ridden any rides. She really enjoyed it. After each ride she would say, "Let's do that AGAIN!"

Milana's 2nd Gotcha Day anniversary

I feel like I should explain the background of the picture of Milana's Gotcha Day anniversary. We decided to celebrate our daughters' Forever Family Day or Gotcha Day by going to a Chinese restaurant and giving her a gift we bought in China. We did that for her first Gotcha Day which was December 14, 2004 and had planned to do it for her second.

So on December 14 we pulled into the parking lot and as we were walking up to the Chinese restaurant Milana says, "I want to eat there!" She pointed NOT to the Chinese restaurant we parked in front of, but the local Mexican restaurant next door. So instead of eating Chinese food and enjoying some Chinese culture and food, we ate her daddy's favorite food-Mexican! She is definately a multicultural kid!
